How long does a commission take?
Time can vary between 1 and 10 business days depending on how many commissions are coming in at the same time -- if you need your commission done extra fast/by a certain day, please include that in your photo reference email and if it's possible I will push your commission to the front of the line for an extra cost that will be paid upfront with the deposit
How long does a custom gift take?
A custom gift will be ordered after the initial commission is complete, it takes 2-3 business days on average to create the item and shipping options include Standard (4-5 days), Premium (3 days), Express (1 day). We work with a professional printer to create your items, so these estimates may fluctuate on the printer's end or during shipping. You'll be given the most updated estimates before you order and if anything changes you'll be notified as soon as possible
Do you take anything other than Venmo?
At this time, I am only readily accepting Venmo, but if you use an alternative such as CashApp or Paypal and still would like a commission, fill out the form and let me know in the message and I will see if I can accommodate!
I want to commission a drawing of a character, can I do that?
Absolutely! If your character has a reference image in the pose you'd like them to be in -- like a screencap of Link in Breath of the Wild or a screenshot of a character from a movie or show -- then there is NO extra charge! If you'd like them to be doing something/being in a pose for which there is no reference image for, but you can provide a reference of your character AND someone else (like a drawing model on the internet) doing the pose you had in mind then yes! You can still do that for an additional $35 which covers the time it will take me to combine your pose image and your character's physique. If you do not have a photo of the pose you'd like them to be in, I can source that reference image for you for an additional cost of $15
Can I get a different style or medium?
Commission pricing is based on the style that I use for my commissions -- if you're looking for something outside of the scope of style, medium, size, etc. please email me for a specialty custom order -- as a disclaimer, I may not be able to accept all specialty custom orders
Why do you ask for an upfront deposit?
There have been several scams that have targeted freelance artists in the past, and sometimes there are people who simply ghost after ordering, so having an upfront deposit is standard practice to help deter scammers and ensure the commission process is a fair one
Are there refunds available?
If the process of creating the commission has not yet begun, you can receive a full refund! If the process has begun but is not complete, you can receive a partial refund, and if the process is fully complete, unfortunately, no refunds are available. When it comes to custom gifts, full refunds are certainly possible and at the discretion of the printer, there will remain a $5/item charge that cannot be refunded.
Photo Reference Questions?
- If the photo of your subject that has other people in it as well --
You can indeed use that photo! All you have to do is label which one they are in the photo in the body of your email - If you want a background that is different than the background of your subject's photo--
Not a problem! just send ONE other photo with a background you like and label them as "Subject photo" and "Background photo" - If you want to use different photos for different people/pets/subjects --
You certainly can! Please send ONE photo per each subject, though, and label which subject is which if applicable - Please only send ONE photo per subject and background, thank you!
